1. The essential function of ion exchange
      Removing specific ions: Through the displacement reaction between functional groups of resins (such as cation exchange resins, anion exchange resins, chelating resins, etc.) and ions in water, the following is achieved:
      Softened water: removes calcium (Ca 2 ?) and magnesium (Mg 2 ?) ions, reduces water hardness (such as in boiler water treatment);
      Desalination (Demineralization): By combining cation resin (H-type) and anion resin (OH ? type), inorganic salts are removed from water (such as in the preparation of pure water and ultrapure water);
